Jersey’s Café & Jersey’s Thursdays

Jersey’s Café in Carmel is one of Indy’s best kept secrets. (not to be confused with Jersey Mike’s, a chain by a similar name but lesser quality) They have an absolutely exhaustive menu (seen below) with over 100 sandwiches to choose from. So far I’ve eaten there five times, getting something different each time, and I’ve yet to be unimpressed. I wholehearted recommend this place but there’s a caveat. Don’t go if you’re in a hurry. They take their time and prepare each and every sandwich with a great level of care and attention. Be prepared to wait for excellence but trust me, it’s worth it. (Calling ahead to order is allowed and encouraged)

Understandably, with this many sandwich options, it can be very overwhelming when trying to decide what to devour. To help remedy this, my coworker buddy Sherrel and I decided that it was high time to take a tour of the menu and review each beast for everyone’s benefit. So (ideally) each week we’ll be bringing you one or two items from the menu. This week we reviewed the Delaware Water Gap Nonie and the Cheese My Baby. Scoot on over and check it out!
